Masters of Disaster Basic Training!! 

Want to be part of the Masters of Disaster Team?  Now's your time. Our next volunteer training is coming up soon.

Many times after returning home from a disaster deployment, we find ourselves thinking about – and praying for – all the people that we've met during our time away from home. Many of the people we're blessed to serve during their time of need become some of our dearest friends.  We are often asked, “Why do you do what you do? Spending time away from your family to sleep on an air mattress, on the floor in a church classroom, for no pay… Why do you do what you do?”

The answer is simple: everybody experiences moments in their lives when they need help, and we're blessed to pass along that help when needed.

When you volunteer with Masters of Disaster, you are helping to transform the lives of people who are in need.  Sign up to attend our upcoming MOD Volunteer Basic Training class! We believe it will be one of the most rewarding things you will ever do!

The class is $50 per person and it includes a MOD Team t-shirt, ID badge, snacks, drinks, and lunch.

Tentative Agenda

• 8:00 am - 8:15 am Coffee & Donuts, Registration, and Introductions
• 8:15 am - 12 pm Training with some breaks
• 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm Lunch, Q&A and Feedback

Where: Boone County, KY Sheriff and Emergency Management Headquarters located at 3000 Conrad Lane, Burlington, KY 41005
When: Saturday, 08/10/2024 from 8am-1pm
What to bring: Water bottle, note pad, and something to write with.
