Hey MOD fam—we’re heading to Aurora, Indiana for our August Second Saturday Simple Serve, and we need your help! 💪

This property hasn’t had a proper yard cleanup in several years. After the homeowner, a widow, had some major life changing events occur, no trimming or landscaping has been done—and nature has taken over.

There's been some basic mowing, and a little work has happened already, but now it’s time to go ALL IN and give this place the care it deserves.

🧤 What’s needed:

• Grass Cutting
• Vine pulling
• Weed killing
• Yard clearing
• Weed whacking
• Landscaping restoration
• General yard cleanup

If you like yard work, want to get your hands dirty, or just love blessing others through simple acts of service—this one’s for you.

Here’s how you can help:

Volunteer your time and skills (sign up below)

Assist with the expense of hauling and disposal of rubbish and debris (make a donation)

Pray for a successful and safe project (take a few minutes)

Whether you're handy with landscaping, mowing, trimming, etc or just willing to lend a hand, we’d love to have you with us! Let us know if you can make it, and we’ll share the details on when and where to meet.

What to bring: Wear your work clothes (long sleeves and long pants suggested) / gloves / eye protection / ear protection / closed toe shoes / water bottle / camp chair for breaks and lunch / garbage bags / buckets / and basic yard work tools.

** Once you sign up, look for a logistics email for each location a few days prior to the work. **
